Lent is often characterized by intense emotional and spiritual output for pastors with additional prayer and worship gatherings, congregational fasting practices, and preparations for Holy Week and Easter requiring long days and late nights.

Theology of Work is setting aside a time just for pastors to pause, meditate and receive support. Led by Rev. Ryan P. Marshall, we'll use resources provided by Public Reading of Scripture to hear the Word, reflect on its relevance to our work, and to pray for one another.

TWO GROUP OPTIONS to choose from. Six Weeks of Gatherings Beginning Friday, February 20th at 8 AM ET or Monday, February 23rd at 11 AM ET.

This is a nonpartisan and ecumenical group; we encourage you to join expecting that pastors across many denominations and ministries will come together for mutual encouragement.

Ryan is ordained by the Evangelical Covenant Church, has served as a chaplain and pastor for the last 15 years, and is pursuing licensure as a mental health counselor in Massachusetts. He joined the Theology of Work team in 2025.
